Instant Armory is a mobile app that allows you to design arms, armor, and equipment for fantasy tabletop roleplaying games, such as Dungeons & Dragons or Pathfinder, using a myriad of hand-drawn art. Record a description and stats, and roll dice directly in-app or print equipment cards for use at the table.

Features and content are being added to Instant Armory consistently.

Instant Armory is available on Android and iOS devices, available from the app store of your choice. A desktop version avialable on Steam will be coming soon.

Instant Armory is totally free to download and use! There are some features and content that are unlocked with in-app currency. Six of these coins can be found hidden around the app and others can be purchased from the app store. You can also make an one-time purchase to unlock all current and future features and content.

You can download your items in three different ways, an item card, an equipment card, or just the item on a transparent background.

An item card includes the item picture, and name in JPG format. An equipment card includes the item, the name, a description and stats in JPG format. Just the item is an item with a transparent background in PNG format.

Each of these files comes in at 72dpi, but is optimized to print at 150dpi, so a conversion is ideal. The equipment cards are designed to be set up to print 4 to a sheet.

Each piece of unlockable equipment costs 1 coin. Each pack has four items in and costs 3 coins. If you purchase a piece that's in a pack, the item is removed from the pack and the pack's cost is reduced by one. This means if you individually buy three items of the pack, you can still purchase the pack (and get the last item) for 0 coins.

If you purchase an item that is not part of a pack and it is later added to one, the cost of the pack will be reduced as if it had always been part of that pack.

You can actually turn on readability mode which converts most of the text in Instant Armory to a more readable font. You can find this in the settings page.
